Our Legacy

For over 67 years, Oriel Boys High School has been at the heart of holistic education in Zimbabwe. Established in 1961, our institution is located in the serene suburb of Chisipite, Harare. As the brother school to Oriel Girls High, we cater to children from middle-income families, fostering an environment where students can thrive and dream big.

Our Educational Philosophy

At Oriel Boys High, we pride ourselves on offering an educational program that encourages creative, independent thinking. Our underlying philosophy centers around achieving knowledge through active involvement in learning. We believe that every scholar should have the opportunity to participate in at least one sporting discipline, promoting a well-rounded development.

Admissions

Our students come from different regions throughout Harare. We admit students from Form 1 to 6. To secure a place, apply online through the Ministry of Education’s EMAP platform after the publication of Grade 7 results. Due to stiff competition, we recommend applying promptly.

Fees

Academic Performance

While we may not consistently rank among the top 100 schools in Zimbabwe, we focus on nurturing well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to society. Our students participate in public Zimsec exams, aiming for excellence.
